TagniFi was started in a garage, not inside a data company. Every dataset we publish exists because someone needed it for a valuation and could not get it at a price a middle-market firm could justify.
Why we exist
The data was never the hard part. The access was.
Public filings are free. Turning eleven thousand of them into a consistent, comparable dataset is not — and for years the only firms that could afford the result were the ones large enough to negotiate an enterprise contract.
We built the normalization once, priced it per seat, published the price, and pointed it at the workflows valuation and advisory teams actually run: comps, transactions, industry multiples, cost of capital, and the spreadsheet the model already lives in.
